Welcome to Neighborhood House

It is with great pleasure that I introduce you to our very unique and special ‘Home away from Home’ which has proven to be a haven for Preschool children since its establishment in 1977.

Neighborhood House caters for 40 children at any one time and around 90 children each week from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday. The children are divided into three separate age groups: 

Early Learners-: 1-3 years of age. 
Kindergarten-: 3-4 year olds. 
Pre-School -: 4 years to school age. 

Both our 3 year old and 4 year old Kindergarten Programs are delivered by Qualified Kindergarten Teachers.

Neighborhood House offers outstanding Educational Programs in accordance with the National Quality Frameworks and Curriculum which is overseen by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development.

The Centre has a long history of meeting the individual needs of each and every child regardless of their capabilities which is achieved by high staff/child ratios beyond the regulations in an environment that is conducive to all children maximising their full potential.

Neighborhood House boasts a highly qualified and experienced team of professional teachers with an average retention rate of over 10 years. 

The Centre provides cooked nutritional meals each day that are prepared by our qualified Chef and caters for the individual dietary requirements of all children.
