Incursions & Excursions

 

Excursions are encouraged amongst all age groups as they provide a wonderful opportunity for our centre community to connect with our wider community. Further details on our weekly, fortnightly and casual excursions can be found under our Programs tab.

In order to ensure that the children are aware of and are connected with their local Community and beyond, the Centre encourages incursions whereby different educational presentations, including music, drama, indigenous storytelling, farmyard visits and more, are made to the children within the Centre on programmed days. These visits are considered to be of a large benefit to the children and staff. Families will be informed of the visits in advance. A yearly calendar of events is displayed in the foyer with monthly incursions for the current year.
